Conundrum: a puzzling question or problem – COOL WORDS

So when I looked up this word in the dictionary so I could correctly write the definition, I discovered there is only one other word that has a U after the Con . . . Okay, that was not relevant but I had to fill up the blank space on this page somehow. . . Let’s proceed to the examples:

1.   Now that the new television season has started, it’s a conundrum trying to figure out how to see and record all the shows I have to watch.

2.  My dumb computer automatically makes a numbered list whenever I type a one (1) and stopping this from occurring is a conundrum that is driving me crazy.

P.S. If anyone has a solution to any of these conundrums, please let me know.

  1. Oh, yes – another thing – in your example 1., “record all the show” should read “record all the shows”. And in #2., “is conundrum” should be “is a conundrum”.
