So definition one is pretty cool . . . definition two, which means, like, a cow chewing their cud, not so much.  Let’s just cut to the examples, shall we  . . .

  1. I read this a while ago but forgot to mention it to you. I didn’t understand how ruminating was an inside joke and was highly confused, until I read the end.
